The appeal of the Dream Escape way of traveling lies in the fact that many of our guests sign up because they are traveling alone and want to connect with others who share their interests.

On our travels, twin-share accommodations are arranged. According to the gender designation on each traveler's passport, we pair solo travelers with another person of the same gender. Alternatively, you can pay for a private room if you prefer your own space (available on the majority of our trips).

No matter your condition, Dream Escape is dedicated to make travel universally accessible. Given that you will likely have to carry your own luggage and use public transportation on several of your visits, we kindly ask that you carefully assess whether you are physically and mentally capable of completing the schedule you have chosen.

When possible, we will modify the way our tours are run to accommodate the needs of travelers with disabilities. For example, we may reserve accommodations on the ground floor or ask our tour guides to give key instructions in writing in addition to vocally. By taking a trip with a friend or companion who can help with certain requirements, many travelers with disabilities have been able to enjoy their vacations. Absolutely. You are free to pursue your own interests if there are activities that are optional or included that you don't want to take part in. When we are trekking or moving from one place to another, this is an exception. Please be aware that Relax and Unwind cannot compensate you if you decide not to participate in one of the specified activities.

Traveling with Dream Escape has the advantage of encouraging independent exploration. Your commander will present alternatives for what you can accomplish when you get at a location. Some members of the group will participate in one activity, while others will do something entirely different, and still others may decide to do nothing except relax on a hammock and read a book.

Because many of our destinations are remote and you might not have adequate coverage, we can never guarantee that your phone will function as desired. Before you depart, speak with your phone provider about international roaming, the associated fees, and the coverage you can expect where you'll be traveling. As an alternative, you may frequently get inexpensive local sim cards (just make sure your phone is unlocked!).

In certain regions, there are Wi-Fi hotspots everywhere, while in others, there is no coverage at all. Take advantage of the opportunity to relax and get to know your fellow travelers the old-fashioned manner if you run into the latter.

You may usually recharge your appliances at the hotel where you are staying. We advise you to carry a travel adaptor. Most of the vehicles on our Overland journeys have their own power source, so you should be able to recharge while traveling. Bring an additional battery for your camera just in case.
